- UCLA Anderson School of Management (MBA)
Emily has taught for over a decade at Manhattan Prep. She has been involved in both GMAT and GRE curriculum development, as well as instructor hiring and training. Emily earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Emily holds a 790 GMAT score and a 99th-percentile score on each section of the GRE.
She began teaching as an undergraduate at Cornell University, where she served as a teaching assistant for a freshman lasers and optics lab and a math tutor to high school and undergraduate students. She graduated from Cornell with an engineering physics degree, which has been collecting dust ever since. She left cold and picturesque upstate New York behind for cold and planar central Ohio. There she worked as a design engineer for Honda R&D, designing vehicle lights and other electrical components. After several years, the promise of decent weather lured her out to Southern California. While continuing her product development career at Black & Decker, she pursued her MBA.
Emily lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and their two sons. She enjoys cooking, photography, and walking with her dog.
