BIO

Tiffany helped friends and classmates study for years before realizing that she was teaching – and enjoying it! While pursuing an M.A. in Communication Studies, she taught undergraduate courses. She has taught and tutored students for over 10 years in reading, math, science, and even ESL (she also speaks Spanish).

GMAT prep is Tiffany’s favorite subject to teach, because the GMAT is essentially a puzzle. A very wordy, 3-hour-long puzzle. She loves helping students realize that in the midst of facing a challenge, you can still have fun.

One of Tiffany’s strengths is pushing students to think differently. She believes that your thoughts create your actions and your actions create reality. Reaching your goal is possible, but may require a change in mindframe.

Tiffany lives with her fiancee in California, although they’re both from Indiana originally. They didn’t expect to love the LA area, but there’s a lot to enjoy. Plus, they’re now acclimated to the weather and fear they may be incapable of surviving in the cold. She suspects this fair-weather trap may be the reason LA has so much traffic.

While not tackling the GMAT, Tiffany enjoys doing Logic Puzzles, reading, and thinking about nerdy topics like space travel and how the pioneers lived.
