What should the answer be here and why? I chose D but skeptical too since 'which' here does not modify 36 feet. Same goes for E. A also has a modifer issue. Now between B and C?.....

Agree with you that C and D opted out, since they modify incorrectly. And mood of the sentence is changing, hence only saying 'believe to be' will be not preffered.

Now B and C.

Reading the first line - A huge flying reptile 'that' died out ... Here if the second sentence that again refers back to 'reptile' should be taken in similar fashion.

I tried to find some rule, but not sure which one to apply here.

My answer would be B.

1000SC is a banned source because it illegally uses copyrighted problems without permission.
