1000 SC Q:21

My answer is B, but according to some explanations the answer is C. Could anyone plz explain me.

Also in the question the sentence "see rhinoceroses after their horns are trimmed" according to me here 'their' refers to the rihno... is my assumption correct?

Plz explain.

Answer is C .But I am not clear why we are using 'have been' .I think 'are' is sufficient .Though in A and B their is confusing .D and E are out .Please help.
