4+32/2-(-6)....

by JosephE686 Thu Apr 02, 2020 10:22 am

This question refers to: All the Quant Chapter 8 Problem #3.
[4+32/2-(-6)] - [4+8/2-(-6)]

I see that the right side portion becomes -14, but I don’t see how [4+32/2-(-6)] becomes 40/8 as I keep getting 36/8...

Could someone please help me understand?

Thx,

Please check the forum guidelines before posting: questions about All the Quant belong in the Manhattan Prep non-CAT Math folder.

You're absolutely right to point this out, and I apologize for your confusion here. Unfortunately this is a misprint in the book; I can see that it's been noted on our Errata page: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/erra ... h-edition/
