I have a question about 'such.. that' and 'such.. as to'
As I was informed, 'such.. as to' is a converted version of 'such.. that'. However, I don't understand how this conversion is made.
Please see the below example.
Eating spoiled pizza caused such an indigestion as to make me not be able to sleep.
I wonder which below sentences are same with the above.
Eating spoiled pizza caused such an indigestion that eating makes me not be able to sleep.
Eating spoiled pizza caused such an indigestion that the indigestion makes me not be able to sleep.
