Admissions counseling packages

by cho3 Wed Mar 30, 2011 3:54 pm

Hi,

I took one of the Manhattan GMAT courses some time ago, got a great score, and am now looking into admissions counseling programs that can help me through the MBA application process. Since I am fresh out of college, I intend to work for a couple years before applying, but I thought I'd do some research now so that I'm on point by the time I do have to apply. Problem is, there are so many counseling programs out there, they all claim to be the best, and honestly, they all sound the same! How can I differentiate between them all? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and I would love to hear if anyone has recommendations for particular programs/firms.

Thanks,
Catherine

Hi Catherine,

Thanks for writing and apologies for the delay in response.

First of all, congratulations on starting the process early. I think you'll find that many of the pressures MBA candidates feel during the application process is simply due to time crunch.

Indeed there are a lot of counseling services out there. As you may have noticed, this particular message board is run by mbaMission, so I'm a bit biased toward our services.

mbaMission has a strong partnership with Manhattan GMAT and has been helping candidates with their applications to schools of all calibers for several years. I encourage you to check out our website at mbamission.com and ask for a free 30-minute consultation if you're interested. I'd be happy to do that consultation for you.

Best of luck with the MBA process!
