Advice?

by Harvard, Stanford, or couch Wed Mar 30, 2016 2:00 pm

Dear Reader,

A hypothetical scenario: a certain student, let's call them Silly Pants, has adequate Verbal abilities that can be polished in no time, yet, Silly Pants' Quant abilities haven't been touched since High School, and it will take some time to obtain the Quant ability that Silly Pants desires. Silly Pants' wants to take the GMAT in August and is exploring classes/ material that could make his/ her Quant abilities on par with their Verbal... thus going on to get a perfect score, getting into Harvard, and saving the world.

Silly Pants thinks that purchasing the "Quant Only Interact Curriculum" offered by Manhattan could be worth Silly's time. Helping Silly Pant's strengthen their Quant scores over the next 5 months.

An ask - has anyone out there been in a similar boat as Silly Pants? Where they needed to strengthen their Quant, yet maintain and polish their Verbal? What did your study schedule look like? What classes would you recommend? Any advice you can lend to Silly Pants would be appreciated.

Confession: I am Silly Pants.

Cheers, and thank you.

hi, two things here.

• this is the wrong folder for this type of question.
questions about the exam as a whole, or about preparation in general, belong in the "General GMAT Study Questions" folder (= first folder on the forum home page).
please re-post your question in the appropriate folder. thank you.

• when you re-post your question, please try to refer to specific goals that are realistic -- and that are realistically appropriate for your goals. (a "perfect score" is neither of these, so, there would be no point in even discussing plans to try to achieve such a thing.)

thanks.
