that sentence should make perfect sense -- so, just think of choice A as saying "that sentence is false".


Thank you Ron for the explanation and many other explanations.They have helped me a lot.
And Ron,it makes sense to think of choice A as a negation of another statement (with respect to gmat),but can such statements stand alone in general?
