'and' VS 'or' and 'and' VS '&'

by AsadA969 Tue Sep 13, 2016 6:46 am

Hi,
I'm little bit confused about the use of 'and' & 'or'. Also, lack of knowledge to differentiate 'and' and '&". Can you help me by giving some examples, please.
Thanks...

"and" and "or" are very basic english words. if you are attempting the GMAT exam (either the quant section or the verbal section!), then you definitely understand what "and" and "or" mean.

if there's some specific construction using these words—from a specific problem—that is giving you issues (and the problem is from a source that's allowed here), then please post the actual problem. thanks.

"&" is just a symbol for "and". moreover, GMAT verbal problems will not use these kinds of symbols anyway.

i'm going to lock this thread, but, if you have a specific problem to post, feel free to post a new thread.
