Is this ok ?

X demonstrated that the world's capital markets are more closely integrated than ever before and that events in one part of the global ....

I was thinking if we join 2 clauses w and, we need a comma

X demonstrated that the world's capital markets are more closely integrated than ever before, and that events in one part of the global ....

The first version is actually better. This is because both "that..." clauses stem from "demonstrated." By inserting a comma, you would be breaking up the connection. Now, if the first "that..." clause were VERY long, you might have a comma before the second one, just as a natural pause. However, when the two "that" clauses are closer, as in this case, no comma is necessary.
