AWA essays

by kritika59 Thu Aug 04, 2011 3:19 am

Hi,

I wanted to check whether GMAT restricts to the AWA essay list shared on mba.com? Or essay topics can be from outside that list also?
Please let me know.

Thanks
Kritika

I haven't seen the list on mba.com, but there is a chapter on essays in OG12 and that does contain all of the possible essay topics.

However. If you're asking because you want to try to memorize all the topics or write practice essays for all or something like that... don't. It's not worth your time. Get used to brainstorming your examples and practice the writing itself, and you'll be fine no matter what they give you!

You should try to write your own essay. It will increase your knowledge and writing skills. Get used to your examples and practice the writing itself, and you'll be fine no matter what they give you. A plan can help to gather your thoughts, and make sure you do not remember to mention key arguments. Generally communication, it is advisable to start off with short sentences, rather than complex sentences.
I didn’t seen list of mba.com.I don’t know anything about it.

Analysis of an Argument tests your skill to formulate an appropriate and constructive critique of a specific conclusion based on a specific line of thinking.
