I first took the GMAT in 2009. Unhappy with my first score, I took it again 4 months later of the year. Most recently, I took the GMAT again in March 2013.
When I received my official score for my March 2013 exam, it listed my other 2 exams. However, what I realized was that my first exam score was cancelled. It was classified as "P - Policy Violation" :
"...canceled the score due to a testing policy violation by the test taker. Policy violation for purposes of this identifier includes improperly accessing a mobile phone or study materials, disruptive behavior that interfered with other test takers or test center personnel or noncompliance with any term or condition in the GMAT Handbook, the GMAT Examination Testing Rules and Agreement, or the GMAT Non-Disclosure Agreement and General Terms of Use Statement, other than incidents which are characterized as "serious violations," as defined at right."
I honestly did not know my first score was cancelled. 2 questions - is there any way to fight this? and will this negatively affect me as I apply to business school?
I am trying not to get discouraged. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
