achlarajneesh, please cite the specific source of any problems that you post, as, for legal reasons, we are not permitted to discuss certain materials.

Though I won't yet discuss this question in detail, I will offer a hint: The conclusion of this argument states, "In the world of high technology, America has lost the battle for international prestige.

Use that hint to respond with the best answer, and also with the source of this problem. Look forward to your reply.

I feel answer should be E: since scope of the argument is limited to "high tech"

" . In the world of high technology, America has lost the battle for international prestige. "

Its only E which has nothing to do with hi-tech. Obviously, one would market "eurpoean food" as "one cooked by europeans" and has no bearing with "battle of international prestige"
