Critical Reasoning question identification problem.

by chughbrajesh Thu Mar 13, 2014 9:13 pm

I am having hard time identifying some of the questions in CR. Is there a tip or an article that I will find useful?

Thanks in advance.

Like the question. Which of the following, if true, most seriously calls into question...?
Is there a way to easily figure out if this is an inference question or weakening question or evaluate the argument question.
The OG uses a different name to categorize CR argument question for the one above it says "evaluate the plan"; but the MGMAT strategy guides has made it easy and divided into two categories evidence family and assumption family. How can I easily identify the questions?
I easily mix up inference questions with weakening the argument question, like the one above I thought at first glance that it is a weakening question. This question was from OG13 Pg 33 Q.18.

The best way to figure this out is, basically, to read the words and do what they say.
Really. It's that simple.

Just make sure you understand what the words mean.
"Call into question" means the same as "present counterevidence""”in other words, weaken.
