Deadline for Gmat for Admissions Process

Do schools have a deadline as to when one should have the gmat taken? ie) if I want to apply to schools for round 2 deadlines in January do they just need the gmat to be completed at some time prior to submitting the application (even if that test date was the day before the deadline, hypothetical). thanks

Hi -

As long as you have taken the test before the deadline and can report your score on your "unofficial" score on your application, then you should be fine. Does that answer your question?
