Distinguish between X and Y vs Distinguish X from Y

[*]Refer OG 10 SC 15

I am of the opinion that there is hardly any difference in their usage as far as GMAT is concerned.

Please let me know if there are any differences in their usage in GMAT?

I personally don't have access to OG 10. Haven't seen a copy of it in years.

There's not much difference between these.
(There's a very subtle difference -- "distinguish x from y" implies that we're specifically looking for x, and that y is a distraction. But that's way too small a difference to be tested on the gmat exam.)

As far as the gmat is concerned, they're essentially identical.
