Does the word "there" should always refer to a place?

Hi,

Does the word "THERE" ,like "WHERE", should always refer to a place? And if it is not,is the usage of the word wrong?

no, "there" does not always have to refer to a place. there are many counterexamples, such as this sentence.. :)
