since she is proposing educational reforms, the two interpretations you're describing are not significantly different from each other anyway—in both cases, the controversy is about the proposed educational reforms.

Hi Ron,

What is the difference between 'available to make comments' and 'available for comment'?

Thank you

^^ no difference for which you're actually responsible.

(the official problems, too, contain lots of small differences whose only purpose is to distract you from more fundamental things.)

Hi everybody,

I am wondering why can "her" be used in reference to "team".
I mean, I always thought that "his" and "her" have to be used only with persons, and "team" is a thing (although being a group of people) so I thought that "its" should have been used in place of "her".
Why am I wrong?

Thanks,
Gianluca

it's the governor's team, not the team's team.

tim Wrote:no, because "education reform" is a modifier. if "controversial" were to modify this, it would have to be an adverb - "controversially"..
