experimental questions

hi,
some one told me that atleast one third of the questions in gmat are experimental.. is this true ? and do they count

The number of experimental question is actually closer to 25% of each section. Approximately 10 questions on both the Quant and Verbal sections of the GMAT are experimental. These questions do not count toward your overall score, and, more importantly, these questions are NOT ranked by difficulty (as they are experimental, they have not yet been assigned a difficulty value). The best approach while taking the GMAT is to answer each problem as if it were a scored question rather than trying to determine whether a particular problem is experimental.
