GMAT 690 (Q47;V37)

by komal.naithani Fri Sep 03, 2010 3:30 am

Hi. I just gave my exam a day ago. I am disappointed that I couldn't cross the "bar" (700), but that is it. What are my prospects from here? I have 5.5 years of exp today in IT - mainframe technology (domain - healthcare). I have stayed in US for 18 months and worked in Anthem office (WellPoint). I am planning to apply to Kellogg, Darden, Ross, Hass and Oxford (SAID). Do I stand a chance? Are there other colleges I should consider?

A 690 got me into Columbia, if that helps. Also, since your an IT professional, have you considered the IT-specific program at Wharton? It's not an MBA, but it's a new program that is geared towards leaders in IT. It may not be what you're looking for, but it couldn't hurt to check it out. Hope that helps!

How can you get such high score of gmat ???

How many times have you reviewed your og, manhanttan SC, and princeton GMAT before the actual GMAT test. How long have you worked on your test and what kind of tips that you do when you practice.
