GMAT Focus

by crusade Sat Apr 27, 2013 8:23 am

Hey,

I just took the first GMAT Focus diagnostic, and am having a difficult time comprehending the statistics that have been provided to me.

The topic division seems slightly obscure, as a result of which I am finding it difficult to figure out the topic(s) that I need to go back to. My weakness has been highlighted as algebra. Note that algebra included a co-ordinate geometry question as well.

Using this report, is there any way for me to get a more specific picture in terms of my weak areas, i.e. find out exactly which topics within algebra I showed be revisiting?

Thanks!

That's a good question, and I am not aware of any way to get a more granular picture than what is provided. Have you taken one of our practice tests? It would allow you to generate an assessment report which would give you a breakdown by content area and topic.

One thing you may want to do is go through every missed question, see if you can categorize it, and then determine why you missed it. If you find pockets of weakness you can work from there.

I wish that I could have helped you further. Best wishes!
