GMAT for engineering related management

by its_lanos Mon Jul 22, 2013 3:02 pm

Hello,
I took GMAT and scored a 740 !
Now best b schools are open for me.
But I have a undergraduate and graduate degree in engineering, and this is my core area of interest.
While I do want a formal management training as I am a civil engineer and a good understanding of economic aspect is essential to my work profile, but I do not want to stray away from my core domain of civil/structural engineering.
Are there schools which accept a GMAT score for courses in engineering management ?
Also I am looking for short term courses as one year or less.
I found some on MIT website but they are all starting next year, that would mean an year wasted for me :(
Please guide, its very important to me.
Thanks

Hello there,

Congrats on your GMAT score! However I do not have expertise in advanced engineering degrees, so I cannot help you out there unfortunately, sorry. It is common by the way to apply to graduate programs a year in advance of when you plan to begin, though, so you may find that is the case.

Good luck!
