Hi Ankush,
Thanks for posting some info about your background. At this point it would be difficult to suggest specific schools without knowing more about what you are looking for in a program. There are so many factors to consider, such as:
-geographic region
-ranking
-hiring for particular industries/functions
-class size & profile
-teaching philosophy
-overall culture/feel of the school
etc.
(By the way, we have a free downloadable e-book on our site if interested about choosing schools, see
http://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book).
In terms of just where you may have a chance with a 690, you want to look at schools that have an average GMAT score at or below your score to have a better chance, knowing that if you apply with a score say 40-50 points ABOVE the school's average you have a better-than-average shot, and vice versa. So have a look at average scores and at rankings to get a better idea. Schools in the top 10 rankings generally have a higher average GMAT score (710 is common for example), and as you go down the list the scores go down some.
Keep in mind that the admissions decision is a holistic one based on many factors, including GMAT, work experience, academics, and personal factors such as your essays and recommendations.
Feel free to chime in with more questions or info, and good luck to you.
