Going to take GMAT

by cksenthil2303 Wed Nov 07, 2012 12:24 pm

Hi,

I have 2 Years of Work Experience (IT), ECE(72%) and my extra curriculars are

a)Acting b)Robotics c)Chess d)Bodybuilding e)Racing f)Modelling

Recently I tried taking up a PRACTICE Jamboree GMAT test and got very bad score.
So for my work experience and skill set what score would the colleges expect ?
What would you think about this?

Thanks,
C.K.Senthil

Hello,

This very much depends on which types of programs you are looking to apply to. Top programs would need to see a very high GMAT (like 730+) to consider you, mid tier might be ok with something in the 680+range. I would suggest you start by determining what programs you are targeting, research their average GMAT scores and target that score.

Good luck,
Mili
