Hi there,

Thanks for your post, and apologies for the delay, somehow my eye must have missed when scanning, possibly due to the replies already, not sure, but normally don't wait that long to respond so thanks for your patience!

When you say top 20, does that mean in the world, or top 20 US?? Anything else in particular you are looking for in a school? For some more reading on selecting schools, we have a free e-book at: http://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book if you are interested.

With a 700 GMAT and a strong quant score, and your academics, you've demonstrated that you can handle the academic rigor of business school.

In terms of your work experience, it is solid and a bit less common among Indian applicants in that it's more in sales and banking; I guess your undergrad degree was less relevant to those roles, no?

Also not clear, unless I mis-read, what you are currently doing?

Within your actual work experience, you will want to be sure to emphasize leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills, and any time you went above and beyond expectations and affected results.

You will also need to specify what your short and long term post-MBA goals are and why you need the MBA... particularly at competitive programs, they need to hear your longer term goals.

Without knowing more and seeing more of your potential application, it's difficult to provide too much more feedback, but I would say schools in the top 10 will be a reach for you, beyond that it may depend on your essays and your overall messages within the application.

If you would like to discuss your profile in more depth at any point just let us know too; we do offer a free 30 min consult, at http://www.mbamission.com/consult.php if interested.

Good luck to you on the process!
