Hi Samantha,

Thanks for posting. You have some good extracurricular and community involvement, but yes as you noted, limited work experience and professional leadership experience. I'm not sure if you've considered waiting and gaining a bit more experience which would likely strengthen your profile (the average admitted student has 5 years of full time experience), but in any case at this point I'd look outside the top 30/35 or so schools just for better chances.

There are many factors to consider when choosing where to apply to, and your personal goals play a large role. For more on choosing schools, check out our free download at: http://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book.

Let us know if you'd like to speak further at any point and good luck on your decisions!

Hi Jenk,

Thanks for the reply :)
I was actually considering waiting for another year but I want to make sure this will help me get into the top 25/30 schools. If not, where else can i improve my resume to ensure the same?

Thanks

Hi there-- yes I believe additional experience will definitely help the strength of your applications. And try to focus on the quality of your experiences as well. Seek out opportunities to make an impact; to lead and motivate others; to go above and beyond what is expected of you. Get involved in activities and the community. Consider another GMAT test if you have the time and want to really up your chances. Spend time researching schools, and your own career choices. Good luck to you!
