this thread previously contained an official guide problem, which the poster misrepresented as a gmatprep question.

to the poster (rschunti): do not post problems from the official guides. you are allowed to post problems from the GMATPREP software, but not from the paper Official Guides. if you do so, our site runs the risk of being shut down.

Hey - we know that sometimes GMATPrep uses problems from OG. I'm not sure whether the above poster really did see this on GMATPrep or was looking for a way around the OG ban - but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt :)

(Though we have noticed a serious uptick in the number of questions posted in the GMATPrep folder since the OG folders were shut down - so please do not knowingly post stuff from OG in the GMATPrep folders.)

Jury's still out on whether problems that appear in both sources are still allowed to be posted here. We'll let you know as soon as we get that sorted out.
