Hi.

MGMAT 6th Edition Sentence Correction Guide Pg 103 Q14.

1. Hugo is widely acknowledged to be our best employee, because he works harder and more creatively than anyone else in the company.

Why is a COMMA required after employee and before employee?

Does the sentence function without the COMMA as well?
