inference problems

hello,

I have come along way and have understood many of the question types and get the correct under acceptable time constraints..EXCEPT for inference questions. For some reason I have not been able to crack the code of inference questions on reading comprehension and critical reasoning. Can someone help!?

Inference Questions

Howdy. Broadly, the answer to an inference question on the GMAT must be DIRECTLY SUPPORTED BY EVIDENCE FROM THE TEXT. In other words, the answer must be PROVABLY TRUE. Try not to conlude too much or rely on any outside knowledge; instead, stick solely to the evidence found in the argument or reading passage.

*Hint: Sometimes it can be valuable to add the phrase "It is true that..." before testing each answer choice. This will help you deduce whether the answer is directly supported by the text.

Hope that helps!
