Integrated Reasoning Scoring

by devikalal333 Sat Jun 07, 2014 9:47 am

After watching the videos of IR - Intro, I was under the impression that scoring in IR is done in whole numbers. However, in my latest Manhattan GMAT CAT, I scored a 4.57 (6 correct, 6 wrong, 12 attemped in all). How does GMAT score the IR-section?

Also, in the last minute, is it sensible to attempt a new question or guess through all the remaining?

If you've got only a minute, it's better to put in a guess for everything because you're not likely to get through a question in one minute. As for our scoring, we give an estimate that includes decimals in some cases because that may help you get a more precise understanding of where you stand, but the GMAT itself only assigns whole numbers to IR scoring.
