Interested In Vs Interested To

by thapliyalabhi Tue Jun 18, 2013 12:30 am

Hi,

I would like to know whether both the sentences written below are correct or there is some issue with any of them.

1-Interested IN buyING.
2-Interested TO buy.

the first is correct; the second isn't. (this is just an idiom; there's no logical explanation.)

by the way, you referred to those as "sentences". hopefully you didn't really mean that, because those are most certainly not complete sentences.
just checking.
