I think the correct ans is B. Whats the correct answer given in the book ?

A - It was anomolies is incorrect
B - Better than the rest - It was the orbit of U showing anomolies that led to the discovery of Neptune. Mostly seems to be in order.
C - They were anomolies is wierd
D - Orbit of U being anomalous is wierd, better construction would be The aomolous orbit of uranus was what led to the discovery of Netputne. PLus although not always, being in a construction such as this, sounds incorrect
E - Anomolies was what is incorrect
