OA is A.

In A, the part starting with more is confusing me.
Shouldn't there be a pronoun such as that(water) to make the comparison right ?
Currently, it seems, that the sentence is comparing the water in Lake Baikal to All the lakes combined.

And apparently this seems to happen in all of the answer choices. Hence I chose A as it was least wrong.
Can someone clear me here.

your analysis on this one is correct. although the comparison is a little dodgy, keep in mind that all the answer choices have it, and more importantly if the GMAT says something is correct it must be correct..
