London School of Economics

Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on LSE? I'm considering going for a grad degree in Econ rather than do an MBA. Is LSE super competitive to get into? How are their job placement stats / how marketable are their graduates here in the U.S.?

I've been doing as much research as I can on this school, but I have found limited info. Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your inquiry. The LSE tends to be incredibly challenging to enter, because it is so well-known across the British Commonwealth and is thus a magnet for students from many countries. The LSE is remarkably cosmopolitan, attracting students from a variety of African and Middle Eastern countries -- so much so that most MBA programs would be envious. I am sorry, but I don’t have any hard facts on the LSE at my disposal. Your best bet would be to connect with the school itself and learn more via recent alums.

Sincerely,
