Maxing out the Mgmat CATs

Hi,

I have been using your product for the last week with mixed emotions.
On one hand, it is as most people state - the best Gmat CAT excluding Gmat PREP, yet on the other hand I feel I only got to use a part of it - the only exams in which the algorithm worked was the free one and the first one. In all the rest I felt the level is lower, and it is evident by the number of 600-700 questions I get (and still score 800 ???). From other posts in this forum I must assume that I maxed the algorithm out - it ran out of high level questions...

My scores so far:
Free Gmat exam - 720 (Q48,V40)
Mgmat CAT 1 - 720 (Q47, V41)
Mgmat CAT 2 - 780 (Q48, V51)
Mgmat CAT 3 - 800 (Q51, Q51)
Mgmat CAT 4 - 800 (Q51, Q51)

What is my real scoring level I wonder? Where have all the good questions gone ?
Should I even try the next tests ??

First of all, fantastic job. With that many tests in a row at that level, yes, you might be pushing the limits of the question database. That won't have started to happen until the 4th or 5th test, though.

I have a question for you: when are you taking the real thing? Get in there!

Have you taken GMATPrep? It sounds like you have - did you get similar results on those? If so, I repeat: get yourself into the official test! :)

Hi stacy,

Thanks for the reply.
I just took the first Gmatprep and got 740 (Q-50, V-40).
I lost many points on sentence correction - tougher than in on MGmat tests.
What other sources should I use to improcve my SC part ?

Have you already studied our SC strategy guide? We also offer a 1-day workshop called Quest for 750: Sentence Correction Slam. The 2-hour workshop covers only very difficult SC questions - you can find details on our web site.

In general, though, it sounds like you're ready to take the real thing!
