MGMAT CAT Exponentials

Each of the following equations has at least one solution EXCEPT

A -2n = (-2)-n

B 2-n = (-2)n

C 2n = (-2)-n

D (-2)n = -2n

E (-2)-n = -2-n

Hi all,

I do not quite understand how to tackle a problem like this and what is it that i am solving for? help appreciated.
