MGMAT CATS - Difficulty Level

by shivnanigirish Wed Sep 12, 2012 10:54 am

Hi,

I have given 3 MGMAT CATS in the last 2 weeks and following are my scores:
MGMAT 1: 610
MGMAT 2: 600
MGMAT 3: 630

Though, I scored 50 in both my GMAT Prep exams, i am wondering why am I scoring very less in Quant (40-45 max scaled score). Also, interestingly, I noted that the number of 700-800 questions in my MGMAT were 33/37..Found Quant section of MGMAT CATS extremely tough..Just wanted to understand the reason behind such hard Quant section..I hope the Quant of actual exam is far easier..

Regards,
Girish

three observations:

1) you are posting in the wrong forum, so if you want more of a response than this you need to post in the correct place

2) it looks like you are concentrating too much on difficulty level and should be spending more of that time on content

3) you are taking your practice tests WAY too fast. if you ever take practice tests within three weeks of each other, you are probably wasting a very limited resource without getting sufficient benefit out of it
