Modifiers of adjectives

by grace.ggui Tue Apr 01, 2014 8:57 am

The sentence reads:

His studies led Louis to propose the concept of an age in which ice sheets had existed in current temperate areas.

Ignoring the other grammatical errors, why is current temperate areas wrong?

Why can't current describe the area? It's a current area, isn't it?
