More than And Compared To

Is more than....compared to or More than...in comparison with redundant??

yes, redundant ***IF*** they're referring to the same comparison.

if they are parts of two different comparisons, then the sentence could be perfectly ok.
e.g.,
At Burger Queen a large drink costs only 15 cents more than a small drink, compared to a difference of 25 cents at Burger Princess.
this sentence is fine, because the two constructions are used to make two different comparisons. ('more than' is used for prices, whereas 'compared to' is used for the differences in those prices.)

of course, you are very unlikely to see anything like that ^^ on the official exam.
...but 'very unlikely' ≠ 'impossible'.
