parallelism

Is the following sentence parallel.

Sliding down Thunder Mountain, artfully spraying snow across his rival’s face, and getting
the best seat in the ski lodge were Robert’s goals for the afternoon.

The sentence has been taken from "workbook for dummies".

Or shoud we write:
Sliding down Thunder Mountain, spraying snow artfully across his rival’s face, and getting
the best seat in the ski lodge were Robert’s goals for the afternoon
