Predict as subjunctive:

Hello everyone,
Please help me with this question, I have the test on monday

Will it be:
Predict that the economy will grow out of the current recession....

or

Predict that the economy would grow out of the current recession....

if 'predict' is in the present tense, then it should be the former ('will grow' in the future tense).

if 'predicted' is in the past tense, then it should be the latter. in fact, you can think of 'would' as simply a past-tense version of 'will'; if the entire sentence is shifted into the past tense, then the future form 'will grow' becomes 'would grow'.
