Hi,

Thanks for this detailed information. I would suggest that based on your profile, you retake the GMAT and see if you can improve your score. ISB is getting more and more competitive, and given that your professional experience and extracurricular/community activities is so similar to the vast majority of applicants, I think it's important that you have a competitive GMAT to be considered. Hopefully you can score higher the second time around!

Best of luck,
Mili

Hi,

I took the gmat yesterday, but it got worse - drop from 650 to 640. Please advice what should I do now. Should I go ahead and take admission in 3-tier schools or wait for a year and retake?
Some suggest that with 4.5 yrs exp I'm already late and I should take admission ASAP, but I wanted to go for top-tier universities, as MBA is once in a life-time.
Considering that I'm willing to apply this year, please suggest which all universities I can apply in Asia/Pacific.

Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the GMAT. This is a very personal decision. I don't think you have "too much experience" to wait a year, but I also think that given your latest scores, it's unlikely that you will drastically improve your GMAT score, even if given more time (I could be wrong about that!).

If you do want to apply this year, you'd have to reset your expectations as you've suggested. You could look at HKUST, University of New South Wales, Melbourne Business School, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, or maybe NUS. I apologize, as I'm not as familiar with the Asia Pac program nuances as I am with the U.S. schools, but hopefully this helps as a start.

Best,
Mili
