Hi ,
I gave GMAT today and got a score of 680(Q 41,V42).
I am targeting ISB.I know its kind of a stretch but just wanted to check with you.

Details about my profile:
Work exp: 5 years(software/ India)
Academics: Good ,got decent scores( 88.4 and 88.2 in high school)
B.E. in Electronics and communication

Could you please let me know if i stand a chance at ISB at all? Or i need a retake ?

Thanks for your kind consideration

Hi there,

You are below the average GMAT scores at ISB, which means it would be very challenging (not impossible but very difficult) to gain acceptance; you would have to have an outstanding application in all other areas. However if this was your first time taking the test I do encourage you to consider trying it once more; schools take the highest scores and taking it again just shows that you are that dedicated to getting into business school. Consider taking it sooner rather than later and getting one last bunch of prep in, including some full length adaptive practice exams that you then study from afterwards. Good luck to you!
