Profile Evaluation for ISB/any other college suggestion

Hi,
My GMAT score is 620
Graduate: bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with honors
10th Marks-68.8%
12th Marks-75.6%

I have in total 8 years 6 months of work experience in two industries. Currently I am working as deputy manager in India's Defence public sector unit in aerospace since 2007. I am working into supply chain,vendor development,sourcing.

Prior to this I was working in EPC company, a multinational company for 3.5 years. There i had expereicne in maintenance, operations & procurement.

In college & school, I was active in extracurricular activities like NCC, plays dramas,fashion shows. I was even founder of one mechanical tech club,
Shall i apply to ISB for which deadline is 30th november? or could you suggest any other good school by considering my gmat score

Hi Vivek,

ISB will be a stretch school given your GMAT score. Are you only looking to apply in India?

Hi Mili,
I open to overseas also but being in India was an additional advantage for me.. By considering my profile What score minimum score will be ok for ISB?
2. As going overseas will be my second option. Which is the other good college?
Or shall I retake my GMAT? , as again taking GMAT will be a bit tough though not impossible.

Hi Vivek,

I would say you'd need to break the 700+ score for ISB. In the U.S., you could look at programs like Tulane, Penn State, SMU, George Washington University. That's the range I would point you towards.

If you prefer to go to a more competitive program, I'd suggest retaking the GMAT.
