Profile Evaluation Request

by KateT649 Sat Nov 22, 2014 1:20 pm

Hello! I’m planning to apply to business school next year. What scores should I aim to get on the GMAT, given my profile (below)? I hope to get a score that will help me compete for a spot at HBS, GSB, and other tier 1 and tier 2 schools. Please let me know if you need any other info or have any other advice! Many thanks!

Hello,

It's a little tough to dig too deeply into your profile without knowing more... for example how many years of work experience; leadership experience/examples?; community involvement; goals... etc.

But as for GMAT, to be competitive at top 5 schools such as those you've mentioned, you ideally want to be as close to or even above their average scores, as you can... so you're looking at scores in the 710-730+ range. ;)

If only we could plot out our score.. at the end of the day you need to do the best YOU can do! So don't skimp on prep.... consider a course or tutor. Good luck on the process!
