Hello,

Thanks for sharing your profile. As an Indian male IT professional, your chances are a bit tougher. You have strong undergraduate leadership/extracurriculars but nothing since then. I think academically, your profile is average. All in all, I'd say that you should target lower Tier 1 schools like Indiana Kelley, Georgetown, etc. or top tier 2 programs.

Hope this is a helpful starting point,
Mili

Hi Mili,

Thanks for the pointer.

I should have added work ex. details thoroughly.

Currently I am working on Essays.

I need to know how important are recommendations for my application.
(I have worked under few Technical Managers and HQ engineers and have received awards, but i have never approached them for recommendation.)

Regards,
Bishnu

Hi Bishnu,

Recommendations are important. You should request recommendations ideally from your manager and another superior who is very familiar with your work and who has seen you develop over time. They should be able to speak to your strengths and weaknesses.

Good luck!
