Hi Gunjan,

Thanks for your post, it sounds like you have a less-typical MBA applicant background with all of your experiences in the arts and culture world.

The first thing that jumps to mind, as it may to an admissions committee, is WHY?? Why do you want the MBA? It sounds like quite a switch from your past, which is fine, but requires some explaining.

Additionally, you will need to demonstrate that you can handle the academic rigor of the program and in particular the quantitative aspects, somewhere on your application. Nothing in your background that you've included thus far shows any quant ability or experience. And I am less familiar with the Indian academic scales etc but perhaps your academics are not particularly strong from what you've included? The committee may also wonder why you have pursued so many masters degrees.

A very strong GMAT score would help your profile greatly, as it could balance your non-quant background and academics if you really nailed it, hitting 720+ would be great or at least 700 for a shot, with a respectable quant score. So I would recommend spending a lot of time and effort preparing for the GMAT and making sure you do well on that, along with solidifying what your goals are and why you want an MBA-- if you can't answer that question convincingly, the admissions reps won't be able to accept you no matter what your profile shows.

Hope that helps!
