Hi there,

Thanks for posting. Overall you have an average profile for the schools on your list. Keep in mind there are a large number of applicants with similar backgrounds, and you do have slightly less-than-average years of work experience.

In terms of schools, I would say ISB and maybe NTS would be more of your reach schools, with maybe Kelly as a safety school. With the others in the middle. But think about how many you'd like to apply to... many underestimate the time it takes to make each application LOOK LIKE IT WAS THE ONLY ONE YOU ARE SUBMITTING! ;) And to tailor it to that school. It's common to apply to 3-5 schools or 6 at max (often over 2 deadlines). If you would like other schools to research, maybe consider Olin, Carlson, Kenan-Flagler.

Hope that helps, and good luck to you!

Hi Jeniffer,

Thank you for the frank evaluation. I would also like to ask that what is the probability of getting any scholarship in the top 15 B schools for a profile similar to mine's?

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Def not trying to be negative ;) but have to be realistic.. the odds of scholarships especially at top programs are very low. Scholarships in the b-school world are not very common, and when they are, they are given to the very top applicants. Some may only be for US citizens as well. Some are from the specific schools, some may be from organizations/foundations, so you can research options even in your home country. But the majority of b-school students finance through low-interest rate educational loans that they pay back over time with their post-MBA salaries.

Hope that helps provide a little food for thought.
