Hi Tarun,

Thanks for your post. As you can probably imagine, you are admittedly part of a very large pool of applicants of Indian males with engineering backgrounds, and you actually have shorter-than-average work experience. Your GMAT is strong though and Bank of America is a reputable company and as you mentioned some of your exact experiences are less typical.

On your list of schools, Darden and ISB will probably be challenging to get into. Followed closely by NUS and maybe Ross. For any of the programs you apply to, one big question is WHY NOW... as opposed to getting another year or two of experience and maybe some more leadership or management experience. You'll need to anticipate that question and answer it effectively in your essays and interview. Additionally, your main goal will be to stand out from other Indian engineering applicants, so you'll want to focus on what makes YOU unique-- what traits and experiences will you bring to the class that others with your profile will not?? It will be a challenge but if you can answer those successfully in the essays, along with WHY you want the MBA (not mentioned here) you may have a chance.

Good luck to you!
